After two years of exploration, the Xiaocaiyin team and over a hundred printing and packaging companies have accumulated industry experience while discussing small-batch packaging, and have gained some new insights into the concept of collaborative networks in the packaging customization industry.
In Xiaocaiyin's view, collaboration exists in every industry, and the printing and packaging industry is no exception. During discussions with the owners of printing and packaging companies, Xiaocaiyin summarized the concept of collaboration: the three key words in the current stage of the printing and packaging industry are: collaborative production, localized cooperation, and collaboration. When a printing factory receives an order for a color box, the paper company cuts the paper and sends it to the printing factory for printing, and after the printing factory finishes the film, it is sent to the post-processing stage. This is a process of collaborative production.
The key lies in the comparison between "localized cooperation" and "network collaboration," which are two different eras of collaborative relationships. The industrial era advocates for the low costs brought by economies of scale, standardization, and assembly line production, which have strong limitations in distance, time, and space. The material suppliers and small processing plants that support large printing factories are generally located within a few kilometers of the large factories, and the ERP systems of printing factories, processing plants, material suppliers, and customers are all closed. The data of different role suppliers cannot be fully accessed and is limited to the collaborative work of internal employees.
