Some gift boxes are made with sharp corners, while others are made with rounded corners. Whenever a client opts for a top and bottom cover, we always ask an additional question: should the corners be right angles or rounded?

Whenever a client requests a lid and base box, we always ask an additional question: should the corners be right angles or rounded?
Point one: The methods are different. Right angles are achieved using a V-slot machine, which is basically at 90 degrees. When folded, it is square, and the rounded corners are obtained through direct die-cutting, then folded in from the back.
Point two: Their prices are different. For packaging box manufacturers, right angles require two processes to complete, while rounded corners can be achieved in one process. Therefore, the price for rounded corners is relatively cheaper. Of course, some lid and base boxes are not suitable for right angles.
Generally, gift boxes with a height of less than 30mm are not suitable for right angles, but gift box processing factories have ways to solve this, which I won't go into detail about here. According to the experience of gift box processing factories, right-angled packaging gift boxes generally look better than those made with rounded corners, but if your budget is limited, rounded corners are more economical.
